Finish it!

Having so much fun finishing old UFOs for Finn’s UFO challenge and then some, I also signed up for Nicole’s “Finish it” challenge. The quilt I want to finish is the fourth and last of the grief quilts “If I lay here”.


When dad got ill, I grabbed the only hand quilting project I had on the way to the airport. I did a little quilting at the hospital, but it was way too painful working on it (what on earth was I thinking, or rather not thinking!), so I knitted socks for grandson instead.

Now it’s time to finish it though. The heavy quilting with pearl cotton threads seems to take forever, so I need the motivation and a plan to get it done.

Anyway; I'm done with the dark stuff for now...
