For years I have been living a pretty much anonymous quilting life up here, even if my quilts have been travelling all over the world. When I started this blog, I decided to go wherever it would take me, so when I was invited by Dawn at Subversive Stitchers: Women Armed With Needles to write a guest blog, I accepted. I’m so honoured and a teeny tad intimidated, and today the blog is posted. Pop over and have a look…
I'm the one intimidated by your lovely and heartfelt work. I'm forever changed by your Hot and Cold and your Classes quilts. And I'm so glad you agreed to guest blog at Subversive Stitchers: Women Armed with Needles!!!
I very much enjoyed reading your article! It was nice to learn more about quilting in Norway and some of the things that have influenced and inspired your wonderful work.
I do not know why you were intimidated to write this. You did an incredible job. Since I am fairly new to your blog it was a very nice way to get to know you better. Thanks for sharing and I love your photos... I am also about half Norwegian so it is fun to learn more about places my ancestors are from. Thanks
Oh Mrs. M I am so proud of know of you. That is absolutely perfect. You did a wonderful job, all you need to do to get awe is to just put one of those pieces of art up there. QMM
Nina, I enjoy reading your blog and the article you wrote. Your remarks are funny, inspirational, and tender all at the same time. I really enjoyed reading your comments on your Class Picture quilt...feelings we all have had at one time or another.
Congratulations! It was a lovely piece!
