Erosion Bundle Project, Take 1

I’m starting 2010 with a (to me) totally new experience. My Erosion Bundle Project will be about fabric and rust. It’s kind of a merge between my world and husband’s. He spends a lot of time making sure things do not rust, so he has helped me sort out the things that will not react with moist.

Some white fabric
a box of bolts and screws from the hardware store
a box of fabric scraps
folding scraps accordion-style and putting metal objects between the folds

and between layers of fabric
wrapping them up and adding some string, and 4 bundles are ready to hang
in the dead-ish tree in our back yard.

  3. I can't wait to see the progress on your Erosion Bundles. Hopefully we will get to see the change in the outside of the bundles as the weather changes them and then the reveal at the end of the project. What a fun thing to do.

  7. Hi Nina, I recently emptied one of my wardrobes to clean it . I put everything on my bed, a large torch I had put on the bed had leaky batteries, it went through a new duvet cover and the duvet has a stain too . So there is another type of rust -cottonreel
