My white little bundles have been hanging outside for 2 months now, and I’m still eagerly waiting for visible changes. It has been snowing and a little bit of rain, so I know they have gotten wet. But no, when I took my camera outside today there were still no visible changes to report. I did however bring a ruler to prove that they actually are quite small, see?
The secret transformation that is hopefully taking places inside the bundles will have to be kept a secret for another month and a half. By April 15 there will be more creepy crawly creatures in our garden, so I’ll definitely have a couple of latex gloves ready like suggested by one of the other participants.
I have received a couple of goodies in the mail. The first is a package with cards from Vivika DeNegre. I won them because I was way off guessing how many different threads she had used in a quilt. One of her work was just chosen to be in the collection of the International Quilt Study Centre at the University of Nebraska. Thank you, Vivika and congratulations! IKEA has some great frames that would show these cards off nicely.
The other goody is a prize I won on my One World One Heart tour, this lovely crocheted necklace from Shelly Rae Wood. It’s even more gorgeous than on the pictures, so thank you Shelly, I’ll treasure it!
