A plan is a plan

and that’s all it is. I never got around to playing with the columns on Wednesday. My playtime of the day was used actually playing instead. Grandson had injured his leg or has growing pains (not easy to know the difference is it, not even for the doctor) and woke up Wednesday morning not able to walk, so he spent a few hours with me.

No idle hands or sewing machine at our group though; I brought some scraps and fleece and made a few small backgrounds for future projects and attached the binding on another background. 5 of us are going to the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham UK in August, so we did a little planning as well. I won’t have any quilts at the Festival this year, and that’s a bit sad when I’m finally going there myself, but sometimes you just have let go of your plans and move on. Oh well, there’s always next year.

Grandson still can’t walk on his leg, and husband has taken him outside to work in the garden. I sure could do with a little fresh air as well, so I think I’ll join them.

Have a lovely weekend!

  1. Too bad about your little fellow, mine had growing pains but not until he was 12....glad you are going to the quilt festival, that should be quite spectacular and it will be here before you know it. xox Corrine
