The Sketchbook Challenge, July

The theme for July was “Element” and I was determined to get at least one page finished before the deadline. So, with the assistance of a little helper, glue sticks, markers and scissors (including a child friendly one), I made a collage with bits a pieces of newspaper clippings from this week and drew all over the page.

I’m telling you there’s nothing that will bring people closer together than a vicious attack on their young ones and their values. I have to say I’m proud of my country.

“Elements of being Norwegian”
Amazing leadership
Flags
Seas of flowers, candles and notes
Red shirts in the flower march
It’s time to get back to work after lazy and crazy weeks. Grandson is staying with us this week so there will be lots of playtime as well, and next week there’s my first Festival of Quilts ever.

We are impressed by all we hear and see from the Norwegian people. So dignified and determined.

Enjoy the time with your grandson and the anticipation of going to Birmingham!
