I ask not for a lighter burden, but for broader shoulders. Jewish Proverb
Something has come up that means (worst case scenario) that my second grandbaby might be born way prematurely. He’s not due until the beginning of March, so we are praying that it won’t happen for many, many weeks. The mom will probably be on bed rest until he’s born, and grandson is staying with us. With an already crazy work schedule to finish up my assignment, I need to shuffle things around quite a bit to take care of both young and older ones. Right now I’m just stressed and worried and sad, but I’ll be back as soon as things settle down.
Please do include a tiny little boy in your prayers.
Would be a privilege to pray for him and the whole family.

ReplyDeleteI vår ålder kallas vi för att befinna sig i "sandwichåldern" . Vi ska räcka till för vår egen familj, våra tonåringar OCH våra gamla föräldrar.

Oh no will do Nina Lise. Make sure she really rests and keeps that little baby as long as she can. We will be praying for other grandson too it will be hard on him as well. xox Corrine
ReplyDeleteI will pray for her. I had an incompetent cervix and spent almost 4 months in bed with my second daughter. I had a fantastic outcome since she ended up coming a week late, but the delivery was very fast as in less than 30 minutes in the hospital. The fear I felt was almost overwhelming, but I had loving friends and family that stayed by my side for the whole ordeal. Stick by her and just keep reminding her that you love her. One of the things I hated hearing most was "It is not your fault." My concept was that if it wasn't my fault why did everyone keep saying that.
ReplyDeleteLook after yourself Nina in all this and I hope everything turns out well for everyone. I will keep you in my thoughts and hope that the little one waits until March to make his arrival. x
ReplyDeleteOf course - his little life is in my prayers - as are you and his mother.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and your family. Big hug!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, included. You are such an incredible caregiver to your family. I wish I could help you out. Grandson seems like such a fun boy to hang out with! You all have my best wishes.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and your family Nina Lise! I hope the new baby will patiently wait and grow till it’s time to meet his Mom.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the stay of your gorgeous Grandson!
Oh my, such a hard thing to hear this is happening.
ReplyDeleteMany prayers and high hopes for your family!
