Worth it

It doesn’t matter how warm wool yarn feels between your fingers in the summer

or how many times you had to go shopping for another colour of yarn

or how many yarn ends you have to weave in

or how difficult it is to photograph colour,

or how many times you had to frog those finishing stitches;

when you see the finished garment on your little model/recipient

it’s all worth it.

  3. Ohhh, that is so lovely. And even better on - great photo. I just want you to know that you do not have to weave in ends. Use spit splice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uLiFOVmcUU&feature=related
    It actually works on superwash too - I did it with lanett, sock yarn and other superwash yarns. Just a tip for stripe knitting!!!
