Erosion Bundle Project, Take 4: Proof!

Only 2 weeks left until the big date when the Erosion Bundles will be taken down and look; still pristine?

See that little touch of yellow at the bottom?

It’s proof of erosion! Finally!

They look so good that I would love to keep them out there, but they would probably not stay white for much longer anyway.

Thanks to Kris Henderson at The Erosion Bundle Project for setting this up; I have loved the process that has been going on both outside and in my mind.

I had a very nice birthday yesterday with lots of lovely comments, emails, texts and phone calls from friends and family - thank you all! I celebrated myself with grocery shopping for a whole week (!!), relaxing on the coach watching reruns of Frasier, healthy homemade whole grain pizza for dinner (first pizza since August), and the company of my dear family (who ate cake).

I haven’t really celebrated my birthday since I turned 30; ooooh, that’s a long time ago….

  1. Can't wait to see what's in the erosion bundle and how it turned out. Hey, I am 35.....with 6 kids older than me and 2 creeping up fast. Glad you had a nice birthday and strong enough to bypass the cake!

  2. I can't imagine how excited you must be to open those bundles...I certainly am and I'm a zillion miles away! I wonder what your neighbours think about them hanging in the tree (or do they expect you to do wacky things? hehe).

  3. I can't wait. I'm sure it will be like a butterfly coming out of a cacoon -beautiful!

Glad you had a nice birthday. I have this theory that if someone turns 100 gets a whole year to celebrate a birthday and a toddler gets a day, you should definitely get someone in the middle to have a birthday celebration "window". Fun to go out to lunch with family & friends, shopping, to a movie, walk in the park....your birthday "window" simply needs to be special time for you, which I think you so dearly deserve!
