My City quilt, “View from the park” is done, only missing the label. It should have been blocked after binding, but I’ll have to figure another way to smoothen out the edges properly without stretching it. Any suggestions??
This super simple little tree is one of my new favorite shapes, and the colour green has grown on me so I have been using different greens in several projects lately.

ReplyDeleteThe edges look very smooth on the photo. I want to congratulate you on your very neat stitching/quilting, too! Do we get to see the whole quilt? It looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteYour corner are perfect! Hmmm.... maybe if you lightly spray with water and stack books on it.
ReplyDeleteWow, you're talented, Nina, your quilts are so unusual and unique, I just love them.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks pretty perfect to me and lovely as usual!
ReplyDeleteMy mother had a friend who didn’t like to iron and she laid teatowels and other stuff between the 2 mattresses of her spingbox bed to get it flat...
Beautiful. I just love that little tree.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful little tree!
ReplyDeleteYour corners look perfect, maybe iron it with a wet teatowel on it?
Did you use split binding? The color on the front is different than the on the back?
ReplyDeleteLove it..
That tree is just adorable!!

I think it looks great, but I am certainly no expert.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering the same thing about the binding! Or is that the other side of the quilt?
I'd love to get to see the whole thing!
Another amazing project. Love the fabrics. I noticed your binding too. Its a little more work to do but the finished product sure gives a nice look.
ReplyDeleteHave you tried steam pressing?
ReplyDeleteLike the tree.
The tree against the grey background looks like a night scene. It's a beautiful look.
ReplyDeleteOohhh Nina Lise,
ReplyDeleteLove, love the tree
