Easing in

I’m easing back into the creative world after my break, not quite ready to take on any big challenging creative decisions yet. The dresses from this post which actually should have been made into a finished quilt weeks ago (we have all been there, right??) are fused on a white on white background fabric.
I had to replace one dress with too much white in the fabric. I tried several background colours, but this one worked best.
I appreciated all your comments on yesterday’s post so much; they made me laugh as I do about the whole messy holiday ordeal. At the end of the day there’s no one else I would rather spend 10 rollercoaster days with than my family; they are just amazing. Fortunately we have the ability to see the humor in most situations, and I would probably have gone even if I had known what would happen. I might have brought a box of elephant tranquilizers, but still…

  5. Love the dresses.

I'm easing my way into using the fabric you sent me. Got one wall hanging on the go with a couple other thoughts in mind.

  6. White background is best, I agree. I've always loved the dresses...they are shaped a lot like me!
