Playtime Part 1

I have made yarn quilts before, but had no idea how long it would take me to make a few samples with all the glorious yarn. Earlier I have happily slapped the yarn onto the sandwich, but this time it took me forever. I pinned the poor little thing so many times it needed a box of band aids, rearranging the pieces of yarns and changing the colour of the tulle on the way.

The colours of the tulle makes the colours pop or recede although white and light pink tulle does still not photograph very well. I think I’ll go with the white tulle on this one.

  5. Very cool. I'm afraid to start playing with different fabrics, that means more collecting! ;-)
