Something warm

I have been playing a little with the block from the Design a Block Challenge; wanting to finish it into something useful. The very cold colour palette needs something warm to make the fabrics sing; maybe this will be enough.

My first idea was this thrifted table cloth which matches the colours perfectly. It took approx 0,54 seconds to decide against it (the time it took to take this picture). Bad idea! Bad, bad idea!

What do you think; any ideas?

    Hi hi hi.......du är då för härlig med dina spontana bilder. Du ser verkligen BILDER!!!

    Ibland gör jag så att jag helt enkelt lägger projektet i " lådan" och tar fram det då det är "sytorka"...........

    NU, ska jag beställa mönster!!!

    DU är min absoluta favorit av "bilder".

    Min kollega, som haft en tuff arbetsperiod, har din bild av " Every Child ....." på sitt skrivbord i en guldram.... den ger henne kraft VARJE dag!

    Well, Just now finished work of little purse. I mixed all types of fabric and colours in my single bag. working with various fabric was such a fun idea and enjoyed lot.
