My No 1 guy is 5 years today.

These years with him have flown by so quickly which, if I remember correctly, is a sign that you’re enjoying yourself. And we sure are enjoying his company. He is the first boy I have had the pleasure of following up so closely, and I find his world totally fascinating. Pirates, cars, Spiderman – now also as patches.
I am sure he’ll appreciate his newly mended pants just as much as I enjoyed making patches yesterday afternoon. That Spiderman patch on his favorite Spiderman pants took forever. The head was drawn directly onto the fabric using a Pigma Micron marker, and all the lines in the web were zigzagged with black thread. I also had to make a blue car patch. When he was little, the rest of the kids in kindergarten brought their pillows and rags and soft toys to bed at nap time, but our guy brought a little blue car.
We have been thinking of getting him a new bicycle for his birthday, so I’d better go looking for one. Maybe blue?
Have a lovely Monday!
Congratulations Nina Lisa, your no 1 guy looks adorable! I’m sure he appreciates having such a wonderful grandma!
ReplyDeleteHe is such a handsome boy!!!! A blue bike would be the perfect gift.
ReplyDeletecongrats to both the birthday boy and the birthday grandma. My baby turns 16 tomorrow -- I don't know how that happened either.
ReplyDeleteHe continues to be the cutest!!! I saw some really cool art stuff in Washington Dc he would have enjoyed. I hope he had a big celebration to celebrate. xox
