2012 was an eventful year, like most, with quite a few rollercoaster rides. Here are some of the peaks:
The birth of grandbaby No 2 who is now a 10 month old ever so charming bundle of joy
any day spent with his big brother
and lots of time with my daughter on maternity leave.
Of course having my first book ever published was a big deal
Turning 50 was an enjoyable experience
Creating quite a few new and totally different class concepts which is a lot of work and even more fun:
The free motion quilting class Quilta Figurer
The painting with fiber class Lag på Lag which just keep on growing -
Landscape
Flora
Movement
Branches
The hand embroidery class Brodert Blomstring (yet to be presented here)
The colour theory class Fargerike
Patterns published in Quiltemagasinet, amongst others grandbaby’s much loved quilt.
Teaching a few classes.
Crocheting too many baskets
Knitting warm and comfy things for my loved ones
And having the most fun experimenting with different materials making mixed media art like the collaborative village with grandson
and by myself.
Yes, 2012 brought lots of fun and opportunities indeed, and I’ll be ready for 2013 next week - bug or no bug.
Thanks for stopping by!
