What goes with taupe?

I want to fix my taupe leftovers up with batiks.





This may be a question for Goldilocks – one is too similar in tone, one is to bright and so on – but what do you think?

    I like the second one for the color, but it would depend on the pattern you are using whether it is too busy to use.

    I like the last one too. The background lets the taupes shine, and has enough interest to hold its own.
