Finish it; week one

This is the first update on my Finish it! project “If I lay here”. You can read about Nicole’s Finish it! challenge here.

More quilting done! As I have finished umpteen bindings over the last few weeks, I now have more free-hands-time in front of the TV in the evenings. The quilting is fortunately not as bad as I remembered, but I can only take one stitch at the time using the pearl cotton thread.

I will always leave a threaded needle in the project so that I’m ready to sew a few stitches whenever I have time; that’s how I got all those bindings done...
