I believe I'm done

I keep on editing any ideas I might have for embellishing and jazzing up my Say Cheese Challenge quilt, “Saying Cheese”, so I might as well pat myself on the back and declare it done, finished and finito. My taste is quite simple, so my self portrait just might be as well. The quilt measures the required size of 16”*20” and has those little folded triangles on the back for hanging.
You can see the process here:

I have enjoyed this challenge (although it’s a bit weird working on your own face), and have (as so many others of the participants) omitted details like wrinkles and other signs of age (they are too difficult to do, you know…). Thanks, V, for a great challenge!

  3. It came out great, or should I say you came out great! I still haven't even had the courage to grab fabrics to create my face... I keep working on other projects instead. Can you tell I'm avoiding it? Anyways, thanks for sharing!

  4. That is wonderful!!! Great job - you are right, a self portrait is SO difficult (which is why i've never tackled it). Good on you for taking the challenge.

  5. You really did a wonderful job on creating yourself in stitching and it is such a fun piece. I need to get working on mine, just being lazy lately.
