Pay it forward

I have seen this header around in blog land and a while ago, when my friend and fellow guild member Marit from Quilt It was paying it forward, I did not hesitate to jump in. Marit makes the most wonderful quilts, and I would love to have one of them for myself - and now I do. This beautiful little quilt arrived in my mailbox this weekend. It’s her favourite block, a wonky star, in what happens to be my favourite colours. Thank you so much Marit; I absolutely love it!

Now, as many of you probably know, “Pay it forward” means that I’ll be paying the gesture forward and I am therefore inviting you to join in. Please leave a comment if you would like to participate. It’s really simple:

- I’ll be making handmade gifts for 3 people within a year.
- When they receive their gifts from me, they have a year to make gifts for 3 other people and so on.

In case of more than 3 comments, I’ll be drawing the 3 recipients on May 9th, and no, you cannot have this little quilt, it’s mine, just mine!

  2. It is a fabulous little quilt. Count me in to pay it forward, it's good to try and do it every day, even if it is just a smile. xox Corrine

  3. Such a cute little quilt you received. Count me in this time...any chance to receive a handmade gift from you is welcome! Giving us a year to think and make something special for someone else is great too.
