Still here

I’m still here; just having a couple of crazy weeks. My usual (sort of) quiet life has been unusually busy even with husband spending a big chunk of his sabbatical on the other side of the world.

I spent a wonderful Wednesday in company with my favourite quilting ladies, did my first ever Make a Boob Workshop, taught a Playing with yarn class, organized and recycled 20 years of movie hoarding, grandson’s toys and my studio. Usually I would get exhausted even writing about it, but yeah, not these days.

I have even done a lot of piecing on my nephew’s quilt and married the unlikely colour combination from this post. Hopefully the clean and tidy studio will inspire new and exciting things.

Now I have to draw grandson a bath, take a shower and get ready for my sister’s birthday. I’ll be back later with pictures from the class/workshop, WIPs and The Boob Collection.

Have a lovely week!

  1. I'm tired just reading all about it. California is glorious and the wild flowers spectacular, the 2500 year old redwood tree beckons see you when I return. xox Corrine

  2. Wow! You've had quite a time. The little peek does look like a rainy afternoon. I really need to clean out my grandchildren toy boxes also....just keep putting it off. But it won't clean itself. But the sewing room keeps calling my name.
