Don't you just hate

when you finally sit down on the couch in front of the telly, ready to put the final stitches into a gift, and you find thison the back?

I don’t know what happened to my quilting stitches, but I’m telling you it’s not good. The stitches looked perfect on the front though, every line being stitched 3-4 times and thus even harder to unpick.

It took me forever to get everything out, but the binding is done and I’m ready to start quilting it all over again. Fun, fun, fun.

  2. Been there! For me there are two things that cause this.
First: Forgetting to put the pressure foot down. Second: not threading the new bobbin properly after wrestling the quilt up and over the machine and trying to change it under the fabric, without seeing what I'm doing. :)
I hope you find out what caused yours. Just so it doesn't happen again, and you can quilt more and unquilt less!

  3. Oug. Double oug. That has been happening to me lately. Don't know why but I think it is due to threading my machine incorrectly. And, it usually happens when I am in a big hurry!

  4. ARgh! What a drag. Unpicking in front of the TV is too hard. I can't focus on the TV screen, or the stitches...these eyes can only do one distance at a time!
