Paintjob revisited

I have slept like a baby the last couple of nights which I haven’t done since sometime mid December. Pure bliss indeed.
Bright eyed and bushy tailed I revisited a couple of painted backgrounds, one of them intended for February’s theme of the Sketchbook Challenge. I am planning to catch up on the themes I missed out on because I do enjoy stretching and bending my comfort zone into other media very much. However, I did not make it before leap day was over, but these backgrounds will fit March’s theme of “Flowers” perfectly.

Water soluble crayons (cheap ones) onto aquarelle paper, acrylic paint and more watercolour paint from my new little kit;

splash, splash for the pure enjoyment of playing with paint again.

I’m linking this up to the Re-Project Community.

  1. Ohhh, a good night sleep can be so wonderful!

    Sometimes I wish I would still have the innocence of a child and just play with paint for the fun of it. You certainly enjoyed the splashing with colours!
